We are delighted to share that the 2nd Annual EntreprenHER Workshop, hosted by the Women’s Committee of the Canadian Tamils’ Chambers of Commerce (CTCC), took place on Saturday, September 13, 2025—and it was a tremendous success!
This year’s workshop was designed to create a space where aspiring entrepreneurs could connect with experienced professionals to learn practical strategies for starting, managing, and growing a business.
Keynote Insights & Speakers
Our lineup of speakers provided participants with valuable, actionable, guidance:
Shayanika Suresh, Founder & CEO of Shaya Law Professional Corporation – Shared the legal essentials of launching a business.
Sangeetha Punniyamoorthy, Partner at DLA Piper – Spoke about protecting intellectual property and navigating copyright issues.
Jassie Dhanoa, Senior Financial Advisor at CIBC – Offered strategies for financial planning, loans, and grants.
Jamuna Jeyanthy Lankeswaran, Associate Accountant at Jonathan Ruben Professional Corporation – Guided participants through tax considerations and bookkeeping practices for new and expanding businesses.
The workshop was met with enthusiastic support, and several attendees chose to join as new CTCC members, showing their commitment to growing alongside this vibrant community.
SheLeads Mentorship Program Launch
The Women’s Committee was also proud to launch SheLeads, a mentorship program designed to connect women mentors and mentees, fostering guidance, knowledge-sharing, and networking opportunities.
