Scarborough Health Network (SHN)

Scarborough Health Network (SHN) is a community teaching health network serving the diverse and growing communities of Scarborough, Ontario. Operating three major hospitals — General Hospital, Birchmount Hospital, and Centenary Hospital — as well as multiple specialty clinics and a Community Mental Health Centre, SHN provides comprehensive healthcare across more than 20 clinical programs and services. As an affiliated teaching site of the University of Toronto, SHN is committed to delivering high-quality, compassionate care while training the next generation of healthcare professionals. SHN serves one of Canada's most diverse urban populations, with over 40% of patients speaking a language other than English at home. The network is supported by the SHN Foundation, which funds equipment, research, and programs to advance patient care across all sites.
